Prudential Texas Properties President Rick Wylie is
implementing big changes for the company including a strategy that enhances
PTP’s online presence by entering a multi-year contract with the nation’s
largest, most well-known real estate Web site Realtor.com. The deal will market
all of the company’s agents’ listings as Showcase Listings and the service is
free to all PTP agents.
“We’re on a fast track for growth,” said Wylie. “We’re
taking our Internet presence and advertising to a new level.” He added that he
also plans to revamp the feel and function of the company’s bricks-and-mortar
offices.
“Prudential Texas is looking to reinvent corporate culture
and move out of the huge, cold climate that typifies headquarter-type office
buildings and instead expand through a number of right-sized offices that will
be located throughout PTP communities,” said Wylie. “We will keep
building on our quality brand and bring it into our neighborhoods.
“Around here, many of us are tired of the same old,
same old business strategies and structures. We’re recreating the real estate
business and that means creating and maintaining a tech-savvy, agent-friendly
work environment,” said Wylie. “I’m a major hands-on guy – no leading from the
